Description
Join us for a fun project based workshop playing with clay just for kids! We will work with rolled slabs of clay and colorful underglazes, using basic carving and stamping techniques, to create a series of ceramic ornaments or wall hangings. The completed projects (glazed and fired) will be available for pickup in 3-4 weeks. These ceramic ornaments are mid-fire range and suitable for decor/display outdoor or indoor.
Space is limited with social distancing practices in place, one student per table unless related and register together. This is a beginner’s level class, kids ages 7-13, no prior ceramic experience needed.
Prepayment is required to reserve your spot. Cash, Venmo, Paypal, and Apple Pay accepted. Cancelations up to 5 days before the class date will receive a full refund, less than 5 days is a 50% refund. Dress in comfortable clothes you can get muddy in, with potential for stains. Masks required.
October Special All ceramic workshops taught by Tara Heinzen during the month of October will be at a special introductory price. Hatch members will receive an additional 10% off all workshops, please notify the instructor when registering if you're a Hatch Member.
